Screaming in a Burning Theater: Zero Bank Reserves

Media: Bush Is The ‘Picture Of A Beaten Dog’
Once again, the Predident has a CREDIBILITY problem, nobody believes a word he says. I wonder why?
Maybe because you told the American people something like this in 2002:

Congress set to reconvene as officials clamber to calm markets
Except that the market is UP today! Which means that the bailout isn't the indispensable magic bullet Bush claimed.
Have you noticed how when ordinary Americans go broke and have to live in tent cities, the US media barely mentions it, but when rich investors lose a few points, it's the @#$%ing end of the world and the coverage is non-stop?

Stocks jump at open
Like I said, it's a SCAM!! The Dow is up 272.95 already this morning. Bankers BOUGHT their stocks yesterday and they will sell again this morning after this huge rally.

Latest Zionist scam
Technically Congress rejected the Bill, but they are just playing politics to make the little man think they are fighting for him. It is all Bullshit and will get passed. It has to get passed. If Congress rejects it and the world goes in a depression, they will get the blame and they dont want that. Another "Version" of the bill will be submitted, one of the Presidential candidates will "Bring everyone together" (Probably McCain) and take all the credit when actually it is the original bill but only 100+ pages longer. Just like the Patriot Act that was written long before 9/11......
Now they have crashed the market and stand to make MORE money, the bill will pass. This is just another ploy between Wall St and Congress. Something like this: "Hey Congress, you don’t want to pass our bailout bill? Ok, watch us crash the market and bring more chaos. The people will only blame YOU when it all crashes, so give us the money NOW or it will get worse." When the stock market goes down, certain people make a fortune.
This latest 800 point plunge is only a game designed for a few things:
1.) After Bush’s scare tactic speech warning us that the economy could collapse and your savings wiped out, the American People wasn’t scared. The tactic didn’t work on us. So, now the Bankers have to show us they are not joking.
2.) When the market goes down, certain people make a fortune. Just like the market crash in 1929 that was caused by 5 or 6 people, this is no different. They sell their shares when the market is riding high and they get maximum $$$ for it. Then they cause the market to drop causing stocks to crash and then they go back and buy it up again for a fraction of the price.
Congress has to make it look good by pretending to work for YOU and not letting the taxpayer get screwed by the bankers but in reality they are just posturing and preening so this won’t blow up in their faces and not get re-elected. It’s all about re-election and holding on to their power at all costs. They are caught between the “special interests’ (Bankers) who funded their campaign, and YOU the people who voted for them. Congress has to walk a thin line between the two. In the end, the bankers will win.
This Dow drop is SOP in The Zionist Playbook
You bring the “Mark” to the edge of the cliff and show him the abyss. After a few days of this, the American public just wants relief. So in the short run everyone jumps on the $700 billion bailout and the disaster is stopped. Naturally there will be no questions when the $700 billion turns into a trillion, and on to $5 trillion.
Look At The Iraq War
What was supposed to be $40 billion, and six months, will be ten years and $3 trillion.

In reintroduction, Palin to do more interviews and "tell her story"
After noting Roe vs. Wade, Palin was apparently unable to discuss any major court cases. There was no verbal fumbling with this particular question as there was with some others, the aide said, but rather silence. Like I said a million times, she is nothing more than a rack with glasses.

My letter to President Bush
Dear President Bush
You want to know WHY nobody is listening to your dire warnings about what will happen if the bailout does not pass?
THIS is why:
You have a credibility crisis of epic (and nation-killing) proportions of your own creation.
Fool me once ...

Gasoline Shortages: Our Inventory Problem
Let's see. Here appears to be Dick Cheney's secret energy policy ( and a really good reason it should never have been allowed to be secret).
1. Invade a bunch of countries with a lot of oil.
2. Burn up a lot of oil and money (and kids; no big deal) conquering these oil countries, then suck out the oil and sell it to replace the oil and money (but not the kids; again no big deal) and make a tidy profit.
I am sure that it looked good in the bunker, but the best laid plans gang aft agley (Bobbie Burns) and suddenly all that oil we had conquered started being sold to other places, and the wars had so angered the rest of the world that even those nations we did NOT attack started selling their oil someplace else!
Good planning. Really marvelous thinking. Really.

You won't believe where that $700-billion bailout figure came from
You know where that very important $700-billion figure came from?
Here's a quote from that Forbes story: "It's not based on any particular data point," a Treasury spokeswoman told Forbes.com Tuesday. "We just wanted to choose a really large number."
They made it up to be sufficiently enormous to frighten everyone into rapid action.

Propaganda in many forms
Well, I hear the Bailout Bill is going to pass despite what "We the people" want. I am reminded of a quote by a famous person:
“Naturally the common people don't want war; neither in Russia, nor in England, nor in America, nor in Germany. That is understood. But after all, it is the leaders of the country who determine policy, and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is to tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country.” - Hermann Goering, Nazi
After the Bush scare tactic speech I did some searching. Here is the link to the text of the speech and below I will take parts of the speech and provide a link or two.
Speech text: http://ap.google.com/article/ALeqM5iBAo1yCOOLr02NJfYtgrYmyZQKxAD93DF2T02
"I know many Americans have questions tonight: How did we reach this point in our economy? How will the solution I propose work? And what does this mean for your financial future? These are good questions, and they deserve clear answers. First, how did our economy reach this point? Well, most economists agree that the problems we're witnessing today developed over a long period of time." - Bush

Well, who could have given these banks the idea to make bad loans? Hmmm......
"More banks could fail, including some in your community. The stock market would drop even more, which would reduce the value of your retirement account. The value of your home could plummet. Foreclosures would rise dramatically. And if you own a business or a farm, you would find it harder and more expensive to get credit. More businesses would close their doors, and millions of Americans could lose their jobs. Even if you have good credit history, it would be more difficult for you to get the loans you need to buy a car or send your children to college. And, ultimately, our country could experience a long and painful recession." - Bush
The usual fear tactics, something this bunch has refined to a fine art.
"Despite corrections in the marketplace and instances of abuse, democratic capitalism is the best system ever devised." - Bush
Hey Mr President, define "Corrections". Democratic capitalism is absolutely the worse system ever devised. We are paying more on taxes every year while our healthcare and educational system gets worse. The rich get richer while the middle class keep going in circles pulling heavier loads like a sugarmill jackass. If this system is the best ever devised, I would hate to see the worst. I will say it one more time: This "SYSTEM" was designed with one thing in mind. Getting every penny out of you by debt, credit, taxes and every other conceiveable way possible. This latest scam is just a consolidation of banking interests.
"It (Capitalism) has made this country the best place in the world to invest and do business." - Bush
If this is true, why have we lost 8 million manufacturing jobs under your regime, Mr President? Why are our GOOD jobs always outsourced in your "Global Economy"? Stop lying to the American people Mr President, we know a turd when we see and smell one.

Reality and the people we elect
REALITY:
The United States is now a service economy which means we are washing each others clothes and cleaning each others houses while buying cheap, poisonous Chinese made trinkets with our Walmart salaries. Here's what our modern day politicians represent: being a fat pig who pins "Country First" buttons on his man titties and chants "U-S-A! U-S-A!" at the top of his lungs while his kids buy groceries with credit cards and his grandchildren are saddled with a Bailout debt in the $$ Trillions which can never be paid off.
Here's the thing about Americans. You can send their kids off by the thousands to get their heads blown off in foreign lands for no reason at all, saddle them with Trillions in debt year after congressional year while they spend their winters cheerfully watching game shows and football, pull the rug out from under their mortgages, and leave them living off their credit cards and their Wal-Mart salaries while you move their jobs to China and Bangalore.
And none of it matters, so long as you remember a few months before Election Day to offer them a two-bit caricature culled from some cutting-room-floor episode of Roseanne as part of your presidential ticket. And if she's a good enough likeness of a loudmouthed middle-American archetype, as Sarah Palin is, John Q. Public will drop his giant-size bag of Doritos in gratitude, wipe the Sizzlin' Picante dust from his lips and rush to the booth to vote for her. Not because it makes sense, or because it has a chance of improving his life or anyone else's, but simply because it appeals to the low-humming narcissism that substitutes for his personality, because the image on TV reminds him of the mean, brainless slob he sees in the mirror every morning.
Sarah Palin is a symbol of everything that is wrong with the modern United States. She is a horrifying symbol of how little we ask for in return for the total surrender of our political power. Not only is Sarah Palin a fraud, she's the tawdriest, most half-assed fraud imaginable, 20 floors below the lowest common denominator, a character too dumb even for daytime TV -and this country is going to eat her up, cheering her every step of the way. All because most Americans no longer have the energy to do anything but lie back and allow our bellies to be scratched by the calculating thieves who run this grasping consumer paradise we call a nation.
The great insight of the Palin VP choice is that huge chunks of American voters no longer even demand that their candidates actually have policy positions; they simply consume them as media entertainment, rooting for or against them according to the reflexive prejudices of their demographic, as they would for reality-show contestants or sitcom characters. Hicks root for hicks, moms for moms, born-agains for born-agains. Sure, there was politics in the Palin convention speech, but it was all either silly lies or merely incidental fluffery around her theatrical performance. A classic example of what was at work here came when Palin proudly introduced her Down syndrome baby, Trig, then stared into the camera and somberly promised parents of special-needs kids that they would "have a friend and advocate in the White House." This was about a half-hour before she raised her hands in triumph with McCain, a man who voted against increasing funding for special-needs education.
The rest of Palin's speech was the same dog-whistle bullshit Republicans have been running on for decades. Palin's crack about a mayor being "like a community organizer, except that you have actual responsibilities" testified to the Republicans' apparent belief that they can win elections till the end of time running against the Sixties. (They're probably right.) The incessant grousing about the media was likewise par for the course, red meat for those tens of millions of patriotic flag-waving Americans whose first instinct when things get rough is to whine like bitches and blame other people -reporters, the French, illegal Mexicans, those ungrateful blacks soaking up tax money eating big prison meals, whomever -for their failures.
Add to this the usual lies about Democrats wanting to "forfeit" to our enemies abroad and coddle terrorists, and you had a very run-of-the-mill, almost boring Republican speech from a substance standpoint. What made it exceptional was its utter hypocrisy, its total disregard for reality, its absolute unrelation to the facts of our current political situation.
After eight years of unprecedented corruption, incompetence, waste and greed, the party of Karl Rove understood that 50 million Americans would not demand solutions to any of these problems so long as they were given a new, shiny thing to stroke themselves over. Sarah Palin is that new, shiny thing, and in the end it won't matter that she's got an unmarried teenage kid with a bun in the oven. Of course, if the daughter of a black candidate like Barack Obama showed up at his convention with a five-month bump and some sideways-cap wearing, wanna-be rap star High School drop-out Tyrone Jackson holding her hand, the defenders of Traditional Morality would be up in arms. Not that I like Barack Obama, but he CANNOT mess things up worse than it currently is. Personally, I like Ron Paul and Cynthia McKinney on a ticket but thats another story for another day.
In America, it takes about two weeks in the limelight for the whole country to think you've been around for years. To a certain extent, this is why Obama is getting a pass on the same issue. He's been on TV every day for two years, and according to the standards of our instant-ramen culture, that's a lifetime of hands-on experience. It is worth noting that the same criticisms of Palin also hold true for two other candidates in this race, John McCain and Barack Obama.
The truly disgusting thing about Sarah Palin isn't that she's totally unqualified, or a religious zealot, or married to a secessionist, or unable to educate her own daughter about sex, or a fake conservative who raised taxes and horked up earmark millions every chance she got. No, the most disgusting thing about her is what she says about us: that you can ram us in the ass for eight solid years, and we'll not only thank you for your trouble, we'll sign you up for eight more years, if only you promise to stroke us in the right spot for a few hours around election time.
Democracy doesn't require a whole lot of work of its citizens, but it requires some: It requires taking a good look outside once in a while, and considering the bad news and what it might mean, and making the occasional tough choice, and soberly taking stock of what your real interests are.
